The Wissahickon Environmental Center

(Tree House)

The Wissahickon Environmental Center (WEC), also known as the "Tree House," is situated in the Andorra Natural Area, part of Philadelphia Parks and Recreation (PPR)'s Fairmount Park System. WEC provides environmental education to all visitors, through low to no cost programming for adults, children, and families.

Public Programs | School & Group Programs | Summer Camp

As part of Philadelphia Parks and Recreation (PPR), WEC also advances "the prosperity of our city and the progress of her people through intentional and sustained stewardship of public land and waterways as well as through safe, stimulating recreation, environmental and cultural centers. We help Philadelphia and its citizens grow by connecting people to the natural world, to each other, and to fun, physical and social opportunities."
